👀 Did you know that Lacey was once home to around 20 lakeside resorts? 🛶🌊

This locker tag from our collection was used at Madrona Beach on Hick's Lake. Come visit the Lacey Museum to learn more about these resorts in our "Destination Lacey" exhibit! We're open on Thursdays and Fridays from 11 am- 3 pm, and on Saturdays from 10 am- 4 pm.

We had another wonderful tour with Panorama this morning! Our volunteer Tom and Adjunct Curator Olivia had a great time sharing more of Lacey's history with a lovely group.

Did you know the Lacey Museum offers tours? We love welcoming visitors! Groups of 10 or less are preferred in our space, but feel free to reach out in advance and we will try to accommodate you when possible.

👀 Where was the "The Meadow Stream"? 🤔 It's not often we get historic photographs that come already captioned, but this one came from a photo album with this title written beneath it.

This photo was taken on a foot bridge that spanned Woodland Creek leading to Goose Pond. The boy in the middle holding the fish is Bill Gallagher and Albin Holmes is on the right. We believe this is now Woodland Creek Park.

What an amazing turnout for our workshop with Window Seat Media last night! It was a great opportunity to develop a tool kit for anyone wanting to document family history or preserve community voices. We’re grateful to Elaine for sharing her knowledge and to everyone who joined us for this event!
