La Vernia Heritage Museum The museum is housed in the former La Vernia Volunteer Fire Department building and displays ever-changing exhibits on many local history stories.

The La Vernia Heritage Museum is open on the first and third Sundays of the month from Noon to 3pm, and by appointment. Admission is free. The museum includes exhibits on the Suttles Pottery, Mueller Bridge, the Gonzales Road, Susanna Dickinson, the Cibolo Crossing at La Vernia, Train Track Tales, La Vernia Fire Department history, Chihuahua Street Merchants, and more.
