The Hegeler Carus Mansion has partnered with Star Union Spirits and is proud to introduce the 'Hegeler Carus Mansion 75-25 Whiskey Reserve with Sherry/Rum Cask Finish", a limited-edition whiskey created to commemorate our 150th Anniversary!

This commemorative expression begins with Star Union's award-winning 75-25 Whiskey, which has been finished in the same cask that previously held the Seven-Year Reserve Rum with a Sherry Cask Finish.

The result is a unique reserve whiskey, with hints of dried fruit, caramel, spice, oak, and subtle rum sweetness that complement the original 75-25 Whiskey's character.

$10 from every bottle sold will come back to the Mansion to help support our mission and legacy.

We have another amazing designer coming to the 2026 Gala: Biergarten & Steampunk Fashion Show on September 19th!

Kandace McVickar (Kandy McV) is a Creative and Technical Designer based in suburban Chicago. She is passionate about sewing, design, upcycling, and sustainability. When she’s not working, she dives headfirst into steampunk and pinup fashion: you might say she likes to cosplay as a time traveler!

Kandace is using salvaged denim, reclaimed satin, reclaimed lace webbing, and satin ribbon for her design "Reclaimed Liberty".

Mikaela Ramirez , from Romeoville, IL, seeks to balance the fields of electronics and fashion in her design by, "...mimicking the look and movement of an automaton in motion as a means to commemorate a form of mechanical artistry that has been largely lost to time". 🕑
