🎨☕️ Two of my favorite pieces are being shown Bird Rock Coffee Roasters the OG in Birdrock La Jolla✨ There’s something about having a coffee and sitting in a place where people’s creativity surrounds you.. a day to day activity becomes an experience without realizing.. subconsciously you’re absorbing these images and colors,hopefully helping you on your intention for being at that coffee place and not another one down the block or just a coffee at your home..
The music,the people and the feel of the place become part of the piece in that specific space🎨☕️✨

Inspired by the occasional foggy, mist-covered Summer sunsets of La Jolla Shores, this piece offers a playful, dreamlike view from above the palm trees. Surfers seem almost hypnotized by the glowing sun, drawn into the shimmering waves as they move through the tranquil water. A lifeguard tower, distant pelicans flying in formation, and the soft silhouette of La Jolla Village emerge through the haze. A seagull takes the role of quiet observer, watching the scene unfold, while a tiny hummingbird becomes a hidden detail among the palms.
The swirling palms, ocean currents, and atmospheric layers create a sense of movement and depth, capturing that magical moment when the familiar coastline becomes softened and surreal by the coastal fog🌬️🌬️🌬️

⛱️🪶🎆☁️”Altitude”☁️⛱️🪽11x14 inches,mixed media and now showing at Perry Art Gallery at LJ Shores 🏛️
A vibrant, layered snapshot of coastal life, this painting blends movement, color, and memory into one energetic scene. Sweeping strokes of teal, pink, and white suggest water, sky, and motion all at once, while loose, gestural lines hint at figures and activity woven throughout the landscape.
Look closely and you can catch glimpses of life along the shore—paragliders drifting overhead, kayaks cutting through the water, surfers riding low waves, and beachgoers lounging under umbrellas. Seagulls flicker across the composition, and tall, slender palm trees stretch upward, anchoring the scene in that unmistakable Southern California rhythm.
The steep, coastal drops and layered shoreline echo the dramatic terrain around La Jolla Shores, where land meets ocean in a mix of calm and motion. Rather than a literal view, the painting feels like a collection of moments—sun, salt air, and activity—captured all at once in a colorful, dreamlike blur☁️

I started and completed this piece during my live art visits.
It’s so nice being able to walk to the gallery,pass by palm trees in the sunshine,get a coffee from and begin the artistic process always so inspired by the striking beauty of La Jolla🌊
Although different than my past pieces, “Night in the Shores” holds a subtle and tranquil feeling with the use of a limited palette, or at least more limited than what I’m used to.
I’m excited to see what other paintings will be brought to life and shown in this beautiful space 🥹

How does your mind connect the dots between whimsical imageries? A mix of animals and a story of an underwater zoo…three ducklings on a gator,the life of a parrot amongst flamingoes, sea horses witnessing the dance of light through water becoming a rainbow…
It’s so much fun bringing together all the details my collectors want for their custom pieces…the stories just come together with colors and images,with a playlist composed specifically for the piece..Painting on wood is so special,the texture it gives is so unique🪵
I’m grateful for the support of my collectors and followers, grateful I get to play in between worlds and weave in together stories of fantasy🎨

☀️🎨 This Summer I created a bit more than art 🥰🤰🏻Getting ready to welcome my first baby onto this eARTh with a full heART 💕
Showing on this post a painted a mural,custom surfboard, palette and a palm🌴
Also started my illustration journey with lifestyle wearable art and currently working on a children’s book 🤫
I finished a surfboard, reworked wooden framed pieces and ended up showing at three cafes and an art gallery! ☀️🦩🌴☕️
