Before the new airplane exhibit took off, it all started with one cockpit and a whole lot of imagination!

Every kid who climbed in suddenly became Captain, Co-Pilot, and in-flight service managers all at once. Meanwhile, parents were in the background, like, “I just hope this flight lands before nap time.”

Humble beginnings, but 10/10 would board that flight again!

Here at The Museum, we’ve got a whole lineup of props and costumes that let kids become literally anything they can imagine — and honestly, that magic wouldn’t happen without some real MVPs behind the scenes.

Big shoutout to Miss Connie (aka the squids sidekick 💜), who volunteers her time and sewing skills to keep all our costumes and props looking absolutely top-tier.
