The Artsiders are incredible. A collective of artists whose main goal is to give space to everyone who wants to be artistic. They have an INCREDIBLE show, the Feral Apparel Fashion Show, coming up on Saturday, August 22nd, at the Pump House Regional Arts Center. Do yourself a favor and go. It will be worth it!

✨ Meet the publisher behind our Feral Apparel Fashion Show programs! ✨

“Ope! Publishing is a small, two-woman press in La Crosse, Wisconsin. In collaboration since 2020, we (Roxanne and Rachel) publish small books and zines which, if you don’t know about zines, are small publications with a wide range of artistic possibility. Because they’re small and relatively inexpensive to produce, each one becomes a unique work of art, balancing narrative, imagery, and paper-arts. We’ve spent hours into years stitching zines, collaborating with writers and artists, stretching beyond art into community engagement, and even purchasing two 100-year-old printing presses (along with an unruly, pertect-binder machine from the early 1990s, known as the Bourg. We have a lot of big ideas for our small medium. If you have a small book or zine idea, or just want something more interesting than a brochure or booklet”

We’re thrilled to be working with Ope! Publishing and can’t wait for you to see what we’re creating together. 🖤
