Think Outside the Box Think Outside the Box is an after school art program for children ages 6 and up, aimed to promote creative thinking and artistic enrichment.

The program was developed by local artist and instructor, Grace Jansen. Students will explore a variety of different media to include watercolor, acrylics, ink, charcoal, pastels, and mixed media. In the study of artistic processes, a variety of subjects such as figure drawing, still life’s, abstracts, and landscapes will be explored. Students will learn concepts in drawing, layout and design whil

e examining different artists and techniques. The hands-on classes are structured to ensure that each student receives individual instruction and aim to promote creative thinking and development during the students academic years. Each session is 6 weeks, one class per week. Materials can be provided at an additional one time fee of $50. Or materials can be purchased from a provided list at your expense.
