A photo from the Edwin F. Glenn papers titled "Two Alaska Native men at Knik Station, 1898." An additional description reads, "Cyanotype portrait of two Alaska Native men sitting on a bench draped with animal hides and skins. The men are each holding an object in their hands, possibly hats, while the man on the right is wearing a tie. These men are possibly Andrew and Naquita, who Edwin F. Glenn photographed at Knik Station on September 27, 1898 during the 1898 Cook's Inlet Exploring Expedition led by Glenn on behalf of the U.S. Army."

Another featured item in our Mushers' Hall of Fame is the Iditarod Trail Centennial Race entry book. The first to register, of course, was Joe Redington, who did so on March 24th, 1966. His son, Joee, signed up four days later.
