The Holden Arboretum

The Holden Arboretum The Holden Arboretum is a spectacular living museum on 3,500+ acres 25 minutes east of Cleveland.
(1859)

Covering over 3,600 acres, The Holden Arboretum is a living museum that promotes the importance of trees and woody plants. Visitors can walk through themed public gardens and explore over 20 miles of hiking trails. Picnic areas are available and a children's play area will keep the little ones entertained as they reconnect with nature. Tours and guided hikes are available and dogs on leashes are w

elcome. We envision a Northeast Ohio where trees, forests and gardens provide maximum ecological and social benefits to our communities. To that end our programs and activities promote growing trees and communities, conserving native forests and engaging children with nature.

Summer’s not over yet… but Woven Landscapes almost is. 👀🌿

With just a little over a week left, now’s the time to visit Holden Arboretum and experience this colorful outdoor installation with Praxis Fiber Workshop before it comes down September 7.

Take in more than 400 community-created textile sculptures, soak up the late-summer landscape and enjoy the gardens while everything is still lush and green. Fall will be here before we know it, so consider this your sign to make one more summer visit. 🍃

🍂 We know it’s still August... but we’re already thinking about fall!

The Holden Arboretum is gearing up for a season full of changing leaves, treetop views, seasonal adventures and the return of Skeleton Grove.

💀Starting Sept.19, Skeleton Grove returns with 14 artist-designed, 12-foot skeletons taking over the Main Display Garden and Corning Visitor Center, bringing some spooky fun to the fall landscape.

Join us for Skeleton Saturdays every Saturday in October for artist meet-and-greets, complimentary family photos, lawn games, food trucks and more. 👻🎃 (advanced tickets highly encouraged)

Add in fall color from the Murch Canopy Walk and Kalberer Emergent Tower, seasonal hikes, the Leaf Discovery Trail and more, and we’ve got a feeling you’ll want to make a few fall plans at the Arboretum
