Art History Pharmacy Technician Day: Pharmacy (1992) by Damien Hirst: A room-sized installation that mimics a fully stocked, clinical modern drugstore. It features floor-to-ceiling glass-fronted shelves with pharmaceutical packaging, empty bottles, and traditional apothecary water-and-food-coloring jars. Hirst arranged the medicines by body function (head ailments at the top, stomach in the middle, feet at the bottom) to explore consumerism, human mortality, and our faith in medicine as a substitute for religion

Art History Seafood Bisque Day:
Salvador Dalí – Lobster Telephone (1936). Surrealist sculpture created by Salvador Dalí and commissioned by British poet and art patron Edward James. Dalí first sketched the idea in 1935 (inspired by a newspaper drawing and his fascination with the sexual and surreal connotations between food and technology).

Art History Dictionary Day:
Joseph Kosuth: One and Three Chairs (1965).
The pioneer of conceptual art, Joseph Kosuth, famously used dictionary definitions as a cornerstone of his work to strip away traditional aesthetics and focus purely on ideas. In his seminal installation One and Three Chairs, Kosuth displayed a physical wooden chair, a life-sized photograph of that exact chair, and an enlarged, photographic photostat of a dictionary definition of the word "chair".
