BY MOONLIGHT closes this coming Tuesday, January 7. If you haven’t yet had a chance, there are so many reasons to come and see this wonderful show… and maybe take a piece home with you from the gallery.

Caroline Burdett is a visual artist living and working in Woodstock, New York. Having shown extensively in group exhibitions, this is her first solo show and Pinkwater Gallery is thrilled to be hosting these magical, surrealistic landscapes in our space at Kingston Social.

Symbols, patterns, and lone figures are talismanic of her work, which itself is created in the ebbs and flows of iteration like water rides in and out with the tides. Primarily an abstract painter, Burdett explores texture and visual effects by integrating acrylic, chalk, and wax pastels into her work.

You can see all works in this show at pinkwatergallery.com and buy directly on the website, or feel free to reach out to us at [email protected] if you have any questions. We are happy to work with you on paying in installments, and we offer a preview of an artwork using a photo of your space upon request.

You know those tearjerker holiday commercials where someone gets a car with a bow on it in the driveway? An equally dramatic burst-into-tears moment can be found when you give someone you love a truly spectacular painting.
(True story: I witnessed just such a reaction earlier this week when I delivered a painting as a Christmas gift!)

Give the gift of art this holiday season, to your person or to yourself. On a BRRRRR COLD day I am especially drawn to this work, ‘California’ by Caroline Burdett. and to be given this painting as a gift would be a treasured memory for a lifetime!

The gallery is all dressed up for Christmas and we have some great, gift-able artworks on the walls and perched in nooks and crannies if you look hard enough! This series of monotypes - titled ‘Indigo Conversation’ by Susanna Ronner, for example, are looking so sharp above the shelving near the entrance…

About Pinkwater Gallery

Pinkwater Gallery is the brainchild of abstract artist Anne Sanger, who conceived of this physical space as a showcase for her own work as well as that of other abstract artists in the Hudson Valley and Catskills area and beyond.

The gallery’s philosophy is that the art world should not be so intimidating and that living with original art in one’s home is the only way to live! The art featured in Pinkwater Gallery’s shows and on the website are accessible and affordable, the objective being to encourage someone to make their very first art purchase at the gallery.

New exhibits are mounted every other month and of course, the website is always open! Go to the website at www.pinkwatergallery.com to learn more about upcoming events and shows and to peruse art available for purchase.
