From the Great Flood of '93 to the Famous Blue Owl — Celebrating the Heart, History & Resilience of Kimmswick!

There’s something magical about Kimmswick, Missouri! From its charming historic streets and one-of-a-kind boutiques to delicious restaurants, the legendary Blue Owl and beloved annual festivals, this little town along the Mississippi River has a BIG story to tell!

We're kicking off our special Kimmswick Town Spotlight Series as we count down to the 1,000th episode of The Real Monica Adams Show, LIVE from Kimmswick on November 14th! 🎉

Joining Monica is Becky Hagan, Vice President of the Kimmswick Historical Society, who has dedicated more than 30 years to preserving the stories that make this town so extraordinary.

We'll travel back in time to the town's founding by Theodore Kimm, discover how Lucianna Gladney Ross helped save and revive Kimmswick in the 1970s, and explore the historic buildings, log cabins and landmarks that continue to attract visitors today.

We'll also revisit one of the most devastating chapters in the region's history — the Great Flood of 1993. How did Kimmswick survive, what was lost, and how did its residents come together to protect the town they love?

Plus, we're getting ready for the 49th Annual Apple Butter Festival, October 24–25! 🍎 Discover the tradition behind the famous apple butter, made in demonstration kettles each day, and why visitors return year after year!

History, heart, resilience, shopping, food and community — Kimmswick is proof that some of the biggest stories come from the smallest towns.
