Hello everyone. The Kewaunee County Historical Society and the Kewaunee County Jail Museum are proud to introduce some new faces. For now, we are calling them Grandma and Grandpa. There will be more on that in a moment. You will see them around both of our pages, in posters, in advertising, and maybe even some merchandise. We are calling them our Heritage Ambassadors. They do need names!! If you have any suggestions, please comment below. We are looking for names that are related to Kewaunee County History. We will choose a name in a week or two and officially unveil them. We look forward to working with our two new faces. Stay tuned!

***Request for Assistance***
Hello everyone. I have still not received a response from Facebook regarding the loss of access to the Kewaunee County Jail Museum and The Kewaunee County Historical Society pages. So, I thought what if we all make some noise. Could you please go to each of the pages and either "Report the Page" or "Help the Page". Maybe if enough people start reporting a problem with the page, Facebook will take notice. The photo shows you where to click when you get to the page. Thank you!

Hello everyone!! We are excited to be back open for business. A lot of work was done over the winter break; cleaning and organizing, organizing and cleaning, etc.

Our first February Presentation is just days away. Join us this Saturday, February 7, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. The Blue Star Mothers will be joining us. They are mothers of children who are serving in the Armed Forces of the United States, have served, or have been honorably discharged. A light lunch will follow. The event is free and open to the public
In other news, if you have not heard, we have lost access to our original pages for the Historical Society and the Jail Museum. We are in the process of trying to regain access, but Facebook has not been responsive. Replacement pages have been created (What you are seeing now) until we regain access. If you haven't already, please share this information.

We are looking forward to creating another year of history. We hope you will be a part of it with this!!!

THANK YOU!!
