We LOVED having Tally Elementary School, Kerrville ISD at the Heritage Center on Friday! It was an energizing end to our week. Thank you for sharing your awesome students with us as we kick off our first field trip season.

The past two weeks, we've enjoyed welcoming schools for field trips at the Heritage Center and the Butt-Holdsworth Memorial Library. The students explored the entire campus and had engaging experiences learning all about Kerr County history. Both Hill Country Micro School and Tally Elementary School students played, discovered, and learned what makes Kerr County history unique. These pics show what an enriching experience it has been for all ages.

It's a family affair this morning at the Heritage Center. When the storm forced us to pull over on the way to school and wait it out at the museum, I put the kids to work. I love raising museum-loving kids to inspire the next generation to preserve and celebrate our history.
