It's that time of year again we are collecting Acme receipts. There is a jug on the back porch of the Saxe (green) house you can leave them in. Any little bit helps. Thank you for your support of the Brimfield Historical Society.

Thank you to everyone who attended the Car Show and Ice Cream Social. We had a wonderful turnout and we hope to see everyone next year. Thanks to the local businesses for their donations and to the board members who helped put the event on. Keep an eye out for upcoming events.

Reminder we are having the Car Show and Ice Cream Social this Sunday July 26th from 1-4pm. Car registration begins at 11am. Worship service before, raffle baskets, boxed lunches and ice cream. Come out see the cars and enjoy ice cream. Hope to see you all there!

Event Update: The car show and ice cream social is being postponed to July 26th from 1-4pm due to concerns about the air quality. Again the car show is moving to Sunday July 26th. Thank you for your understanding

Worship Service at 10am with the Brimfield Methodist Church
Car Registration 11am-1pm
Car Show 1-4pm

Ice cream, box lunches and a silent auction are available.

Reminder that June 15th at 6pm is our annual membership dinner. We will be holding it in the Heritage Room. Bring a dish to share and visit. Anyone is welcome, including anyone interest in becoming a member. RSVP's are appreciated (330-673-1058)

Tomorrow we will have our train exhibit open at the Saxe House from 4-5pm. Stop by and check out what we have, then come join us at the Brimfield Library for Steel Rails, Small Towns from 5:30-6:45pm. The library talk is presented by Bruce Dzeda and goes over the history of Kent, Ohio and railroads. We hope to see at the Saxe House and then the library.

We also will have the exhibit open on the 18th and 26th from 1-4pm and on the 21st from 4-5pm
