Housed within the College of the Arts at Kennesaw State University, the Bernard A. Zuckerman Museum of Art encourages the exchange of ideas and artful thinking to inspire visitors and engage them with the vibrant arts community of our region. The Zuckerman Museum of Art presents significant works from Kennesaw State University's permanent collection while regularly exhibiting contemporary works of

various media by local and nationally-recognized artists. The ZMA serves as a center for the enrichment of the arts, arts education and professional development. Through the creation of uniquely curated exhibitions, community outreach, workshops and programming the museum acts as a bridge between the campus and the community while also providing dedicated exhibitions for the KSU students and faculty in the ZMA's satellite gallery.

The exhibition closes this week! The last day to visit will be this Friday, May 1. Be sure to stop in and view this exhibition before it travels to the Asheville Art Museum!

Please note the museum will close early at 1:00pm on Wednesday, April 29. Museum will be open during normal operational hours Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday.

A small sneak peak of our last exhibition in Fine Arts Gallery for the year. The Zuckerman Museum of Art is pleased to announce our next capstone exhibition. Please join us TONIGHT for the opening reception of theTextiles and Surface Design Capstone Exhibition from 5:00pm to 7:00pm!

The exhibition will be on view April 22 through May 2 at the Fine Arts Gallery.

Many thanks to COMBAT PAPER and Drew Cameron for a fantastic weekend of papermaking workshops, celebrating โ€œveterans and visionaries: Papermaking with a purposeโ€!!!!

Many thanks to professor Kristin Horan for her generosity, thoughtfulness, and willingness to collaborate on this fabulous grant project that she was awarded as the primary investigator. This project has been amazing experience for everyone, including my graduate assistants and our ZMA student docents.

โ€ฆ happening right now outside the Zuckerman Museum Museum of Art โ€“ a series of free workshops with COMBAT PAPER as part of a grant that ZMA director of curatorial affairs Cynthia Nourse Thompson is engaged in with Professor Kristin Horan, associate professor of psychology and director of community engagement and outreach at the center for the advancement of military and emergency services research at Ksu. LaKela Brown was recently awarded the prestigious Peabody Essex Museum purchase prize and the Northern Trust Purchase Prize for the Denver Art Museum. We are thrilled that one of her works made during her residency will become part of our permanent collection!
