Silver Leaf Design Studios is a faux finish and decorative painting company offering a complete range of custom designer finishes for walls, ceilings, woodwork, and furniture. Uniquely decorated spaces are created by drawing on colors and textures being used as part of the overall decorating plan, as well as architectural details found in the room being decorated. We have a passion for repairing and renewing things that would otherwise be cast away. My son found this chalkware rooster lamp that his grandmother had made and painted decades ago, but it was banged up and missing a few pieces from its beak and comb. I plastered and repainted the missing pieces, rewired the lamp, and put in an Edison bulb to give it a more contemporary look. It's now living a happy, free-range life in my son's South Philly home.

Here's some more recent work for you to enjoy! We just finished this damask finish on an accent wall. Each layer of color was carefully placed to create an illusion of depth. The vibrant metallic silver and gold are softened by an opaque gray layer to keep balance between the accent wall and the rest of the room.
