Inspiration without boundaries...

Julie Berg rubs a thick white gesso onto a sturdy white canvas, sketching out her newest creation with her hands.

Her spontaneous lines develop as the charcoal emerges, the dust permeating not only the painting but everything else in range. Shadows grow as she sponges on rich stains. Spackle paint crackles as flecks of iridescent acrylics shimmer. Just as you think it is perfect.

Julie pours surfboard resin on top of everything to give it that “ just took a dip and still dripping wet” look.
