A bittersweet final Parents’ Weekend in beautiful Boulder as our favorite daughter, Ava, completes her final year of school! 🍂❤️ We couldn’t be prouder of all she’s accomplished and the exciting adventures ahead!

Simon’s friend 𝕭𝖊𝖓𝖙𝖍𝖔𝖛𝖊𝖓 graced our home with some fabulous piano classics - we always love when our piano is put to good use ! Along with our lovely Moffat Takadiwa , a sculpture by Kenny Schachter among many others. Art and Music make the world go round !

We absolutely loved hosting members of the Portland Museum of Art during their journey to Kansas City, filled with visits to private collectors’ homes, museum tours, and wonderful conversations about art! 🎨✨

Collaboration and connection are at the heart of what we do, and there’s nothing quite like meeting new people who share the same zest, curiosity, and passion for art!

It was such a pleasure to share the history of Toma Wolff Fine Art Advisory, the legacy of Byron Cohen Gallery, and our family’s longstanding tradition of collecting, curating, and advising. Most importantly, we got to talk about why we love art and how it continues to connect people, generations, and communities.

Art is so much more than the objects we collect. It’s about the stories, relationships, and experiences we build along the way. That’s what Living with Art is all about!

Wow! We absolutely loved getting a sneak peek at Barbara Takenaga: Awestruck during the member preview at the beautiful Kemper Museum of Contemporary Art! ✨🎨
What a treat to experience this incredible exhibition spanning 25 years of Takenaga’s mesmerizing abstract paintings—and even more wonderful to have the opportunity to chat with Barbara herself about her work, creative process, and the intricate worlds she creates. Her paintings are truly captivating, drawing you into cosmic landscapes, dazzling patterns, and seemingly infinite spaces.
Of course, it’s always a joy to celebrate the Kemper and all that this incredible institution brings to Kansas City’s arts community! We’re especially excited as we count down to next weekend’s fabulous ArtSmash Gala: Moon Age Dreamscape, inspired by Takenaga’s work! 🌙✨
Be sure to visit Awestruck, opening to the public October 9 and on view through April 11, 2027. It’s an exhibition you won’t want to miss!

Living and loving life and the changing of the seasons! 🍁🍂❤️

Especially grateful to our wonderful friends Eve and Mike for inviting Andy and me on this colorful excursion through New England. We’ve been soaking up the beautiful fall colors, finding moments to heal, relax, laugh, and simply enjoy life.

Living with Art means so much more than the art in our homes. It’s also about appreciating the art of nature, the beauty of our surroundings, and the extraordinary colors that come with the changing seasons. A little reminder to slow down, look around, and take it all in as we welcome fall.

Thank you again to everyone for your incredibly kind words, love, and condolences. I miss my mom greatly. She was my person! ❤️ But I know she’s with us in spirit, enjoying every colorful moment of this journey, too. She would have loved it all.

Here’s to living with art, loving life, embracing the changing seasons, and cherishing the people who make the journey so beautiful.

Truly, thank you for all the kind words, love, and support for me and my family. ❤️

Andy and I had the joy of seeing Hank Willis Thomas’s The Embrace while on a historical bike tour through Boston, and it felt especially meaningful during this time. The sculpture, along with these beautiful words from Coretta Scott King, reminded me of the power of community, unconditional love, and the importance of leaning on one another. We are also so grateful to be friends with ᕼᗩᑎK , we love having his work in our collection, and continuing to champion his powerful work !

We are currently taking a much-needed vacation with friends in New England, and I’m especially grateful for all the family and friends we’ve been able to lean on. In many ways, this embrace feels like a representation of the love and support of our own community, and I’m so grateful for all of you. ❤️
