Strawberry Hill Museum and Cultural Center, KC The Strawberry Hill Ethnic Cultural Society was formed in 1988 to promote, sponsor and preserve the ethnic heritage prevalent in Kansas City, KS.

The Strawberry Hill Museum and Cultural Center celebrates the many nationalities of Kansas City residents. The STRAWBERRY HILL MUSEUM has more than 30 rooms of unique displays. Permanent exhibits highlight the cultures and people of Poland, Russia, Slovakia, Lithuania, Croatia, Slovenia, Ukraine and the Netherlands. The HALL OF IMMIGRANTS opened in October 2005. The museum is proud to display pictures and ancestral artifacts from the families who settled in this area during the late 1800s and early 1900s. The GIFT SHOP sells a variety of unique items including original works of art and craftsmanship from the Baltic and Slavic countries of Europe and the Kansas City, Kansas community. Looking for a rental space this holiday season? Think of us! We have three indoor spaces that will be decorated and waiting for you!

Have a book club holiday party, supper club group, wedding shower or extended family needing a bigger space? Our Tea Room is perfect for 20 or less and Tomasic Hall can hold up to 80. Our Chapel is perfect for a wedding, vow renewal, remeberance celebration or baptism for 70. Each space comes decorated for the holiday season and includes chairs, tables and tablecloths.

Saving the best for last! After a brief introduction in the Chapel we will move to the Tomasic Hall for a traditional ethnic dinner. You will dine on Sarma (Croatian cabbage roll), Polish Sausage and Sauerkraut, Hot German Potato Salad, Green Beans, Tossed Salad, dinner roll and Povitica (Croatian nut bread) for dessert. Dinner will be accompanied with beverages. After dinner small groups will take a tour of the Victorian Mansion, Orphanage and Museum, ending in the Gift Shop for that last minute shopping. This event starts promptly at 6pm, always best to arrive 10 - 15 minutes early to see all the wonders in the Chapel.

Join us on Dec 1 for our nighttime appetizer tour! After a brief introduction in the Chapel, all will be divided into small groups to take a tour of the Victorian Mansion, Orphanage and Museum, ending in the Gift Shop for that last minute shopping. The tours start promptly at 6pm, always best to arrive 10 - 15 minutes early to see all the wonders in the Chapel. As an intermission to the tour - you can enjoy w**e, b**r and light appetizers and then resume your adventures on the tour. Don't miss it!
