Art is a means through which humans communicate, feel, and think. Without it, we are machines, driven by muscle and instinct. When life becomes lost, Art retrieves it and renews its purpose. Envisioned by Stayce Camparo, Exhibit Sway is a contemporary dance project designed as a means to experiment with creative perspective. Gallery performances will embody choreographic exploration through concep

tualized and improvised movement, evolving on a show-by-show basis. Collaborations with various art genres will shape relationships among artists, transforming concepts and arousing deeper insight. Offering a portal through which the traditional roles of dancer and spectator are re-visioned, Exhibit Sway will promote creation among all artists and engagement among all art lovers. Stayce Camparo’s conception of Exhibit Sway stems from the realization that Art has intrinsic value relevant to the human psyche in every way. René Descartes postulated, “I think, therefore, I am.” Exhibit Sway offers illumination on a more fundamental level: “I am conscious, therefore, art moves me.”
