So many things to share and feeling like I am everywhere (in the best way).

Back in April as one of my last events as President of IDAL with my term ending on the 15th, we partnered/sponsored a mural painting during Spring Fling for Earth Week.

In May, I quietly launched my Psychology of Color monthly subscription. Of course Red being my favorite color, it was fitting to start there. Every month creating a new collection with a theme color has been amazing. I do have 5 additional exclusive spots open beginning in August if you’d like to subscribe, just message me for details.

Early June, one of my favorite pieces was selected for display at the Zhou B Art Center ‘Placemaking’ exhibition. It will be on display all summer so come out and see it along with so many other fabulous works of artists at Zhou B. This piece was also featured on Fox 4 during a segment about this amazing exhibition.

Late June, another of my favorite works was selected as part of the Ft. Smith Regional Art Museum Exhibition ‘Our Common Ground’ and will be on display at the museum through October. My piece is right at the museum entrance so hop on over and take a selfie with it then enjoy the gallery of so many wonderful pieces from artists across the region.

Latest from my studio!! Another piece in the Portraits Without Names Series titled Popcorn Lady.

I had a wonderful visit with this woman who introduced herself as the ‘Popcorn Lady’ of KC when she stopped in my studio. Wr talked about her commercial popcorn business in the Jazz District right down the way from my studio. She loved this series and my painting style. I decided to paint her with the famous popcorn kernels she was known for before she retired. I absolutely love interactions like this and portraying them in my art.

I had the esteemed pleasure of meeting with the in my studio. Wow what a fantastic opportunity to talk to them and get some truly unique insights for my artistic direction and focus. Their positivity and enthusiasm for my work is a priceless experience. I also love that my many styles from super detailed to super loose work together in a harmony that speaks my soul to the viewer, they understand my vision and encourage my ideal direction. How awesome!! I am grateful for the visit and hope to have them back again soon!! Thank you so much for scheduling the time and thanks for the pics!!

My newest painting in the Portraits Without Names series.

This is my interpretation of a few guys I had met at a theme party. The room was side lit with bright blue lights that created this myriad of blue hues on their faces. It was such a neat effect I had to capture it on canvas.

I am absolutely in LOVE with my new stickers from Sticker Depot They are high quality vinyl stickers for a variety of uses. My latest paintings turned into stickers is SO COOL!!
