Wes earned his MFA in illustration from the School of Visual Arts in NYC and his Bachelors degree in Art History at the University of Kansas. He taught at the Kansas City Art Institute and Park University before pursuing a career as a full-time oil painter. Wes’ paintings hang in private and public collections across the United States. You'll love this video of river otters eating crayfish in a tributary of the Kaw River. Notice how the male raises up to get a good look at our owner, Paul, then goes back to hunting. Thanks to conservationists they're thriving again in the Midwest.
