So many questions, so much STEAM!

Exploreum Executive Director Neely Myers had a great time filming upcoming episodes of KSN 16/KODE 12Tell Me Why with Gary Bandy today. From waves and weather to cameras, smartphones and more, curious kids brought all kinds of great STEAM questions!

We loved welcoming two groups from Missouri Southern State University’s MOSO CAPS program to the Exploreum yesterday!

Students toured the space, learned more about what we do, and had plenty of time to explore and play.

We’re especially excited to grow our connection with MOSO CAPS as we welcome a student intern to the Exploreum this year. It’s a great opportunity to connect classroom learning with real-world experience right here in our community.

Thanks for spending the day with us, MOSO CAPS-Missouri Southern Center for Advanced Professional Studies. We’re excited for what’s ahead!

Neely wore Dolly today, and it feels especially meaningful.

Through Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library, more than 300 million free books have been gifted to children, sparking a love of reading, learning and curiosity around the world.

A legacy that fits so closely with what we believe at the Exploreum: inspiring kids to stay curious, keep learning and dream big.

What an incredible impact she made. We will miss her, and our thoughts are with all those who loved and will miss Dolly.

We’re growing our Exploreum crew!

The Schroeder Family Exploreum is looking for another part-time Guest Services team member who loves people, enjoys working with kids and families, and doesn’t mind a little curiosity, creativity and FUN in their workday.

This position is approximately 15 hours per week and is perfect for someone who is friendly, dependable and ready to help make every visit to the Exploreum a great one.

The “T” in STEAM stands for TECHNOLOGY!

Our fearless Exploreum leader, Executive Director Neely Garvin Myers, had a few tiny helpers join her for a Living Well segment earlier this month: the Exploreum’s Ozobots!

These little robots make learning early coding fun and hands-on, giving kids a chance to explore technology, problem-solving and creative thinking through PLAY!
