We are so excited for Bingo Saturday August 15 at 4 pm. Light refreshments will be available. Special thanks to our local businesses for their prizes and donations: Burgers and More On the Go, Cracker Barrel, Domino’s, Elkin Jewelry, Mazzini’s, Pepsi, Starmount Cinema and The Mango Peel. All proceeds go to support the Yadkin Valley Museum, Inc. and Mineral Springs Veterans Memorial Park.

We recently came across a VHS video of the Yadkin County High School. It was the high school for people of color from 1943-1967. The video was digitized by Matt Kiser and we are hoping to share it with you soon. Before we do, we would like to get permission from the producer to make it available online.
