Jonesborough Visitors Center and Emporium The Old Town Emporium Gift Shop at the Historic Jonesborough Visitors Center & Museum! Open 7 days a week till 5:00 p.m. each day!

The Historic Jonesborough Visitors Center and Old Town Emporium, a multi-purpose facility, is used to welcome visitors, is a local artisans shop and bookstore and provides a place for the community, private, public and business sectors to meet. Here you can pick up an official Historic Jonesborough Visitors Guide, seasonal events brochures, self-guided walking tour, local and regional maps as well

as answers to any questions you may have. The Center also houses the Jonesborough-Washington County History Museum which is filled with early East Tennessee hand-made furniture and dated photos of Jonesborough as a stage coach town. Take a few minutes and browse through the Old Town Emporium Gift Shop for books by local authors, hand-made crafts by regional artisans and official Historic Jonesborough merchandise.

UPDATE: The Visitors Center will be closed inside today, August 18, due to ongoing restroom renovations.

Our team will still be available outside under the portico to assist visitors, and our phones will remain available during regular hours.

🚻 Restroom Update

The Jonesborough Visitor Center is currently in the process of remodeling its restrooms! While work is underway, temporary bathroom trailers are available in the front parking lot for guests to use during Visitor Center hours and scheduled rental hours.

Thank you for your patience as we make these improvements! We look forward to welcoming you back to our newly remodeled restrooms soon!

🚧 Visitors Center Update 🚧

The Jonesborough Visitors Center and its public restrooms will be closed through Saturday, July 18, as we complete remodeling improvements.

Although the building will be closed, our staff will be available outside on the portico to answer questions, provide visitor information, and assist with phone calls.

We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work to improve the Visitors Center. Thank you for your continued support!
