SHOW NEA

SHOW NEA SHOW is your source for keeping up with the world-class arts and entertainment community in NEA. Local art. Real culture. This is SHOW. Art should be a mirror.

SHOW is your source for keeping up with the world-class arts and entertainment community in NEA, presented by the Ramsons Arts Partnership. We believe art is more than decoration. Art shouldn’t sit quietly in the corner. Art should comfort the afflicted,
and afflict the comfortable. Art reminds us we’re usually staring at the wrong thing. Art wakes us up and unplugs people from the Matrix. Art mov

es us. Art makes us talk. We believe world-class artists live and create
in Jonesboro, and that their work could
transform this city if more people truly SAW it. We need more art in this city. We need more people in front of the art this city produces. We will show you 12 unforgettable nights a year; nights as electric as anything out of town. Show you the artists and makers reshaping the local culture. Show you every week where the real work is happening. Show you places to learn, make, and belong. Show you the stages, galleries, cafés, and back-rooms where art grows local. We will show you where true art is hiding:
in plain sight,
in your hometown,
in your city,
in you.

The Creativity Lab of Jonesboro is a welcoming, hands-on art studio where students ages 5 through adult can explore, experiment, and grow.

At The Creativity Lab, students are supported based on their goals—whether they want to explore freely or develop specific skills, because there's no one right way to make art. Each student’s voice and ideas are valued, creating an environment where they can grow through experimentation and risk taking.

A huge thank you to Matt Shively for coming all the way to Jonesboro to share his time, experience and insight with our creative community.

This workshop gave local performers the chance to learn more about on-camera techniques, ask questions and hear directly from someone working in the industry.

Thank you to Matt & Mary Hollis for pouring into Jonesboro’s artists, to the Foundation of Arts for collaborating with us, and to everyone who showed up ready to learn and grow.

This is exactly what SHOW is about: creating space for artists to connect, learn and keep building something special right here in Northeast Arkansas.
