I’m such a proud mama. 🥹❤️

From January through May, every late night, every meeting, every submission, every hard decision… all leads to this moment. Every single year when we announce the Official Selections LIVE and I get to see the filmmakers react in real time, it hits me emotionally all over again. 😭😭🥹🥹

What we’re building through BBFF is bigger than a film festival. It’s community. It’s visibility. It’s purpose. It’s proof that Black & Brown femme stories deserve space, celebration, and audiences that truly see them.

To our filmmakers: thank you for trusting us with your art, your vulnerability, and your dreams.
To our judges and selection committee: thank you for the care, thoughtfulness, and love you poured into this process.

If I could spend my life helping people feel seen, feel good, and realize their creative potential and dreams… that would make me the happiest person in the world.
