The 1902 Simpson House Museum will once again be open the 2nd Sunday of each month from 2:00 to 4:00, from April though October.

We're aware of a previous page that includes a lot of photos. It is https://www.facebook.com/johnstonhistoricalsociety, which might have been confused with another Johnston (Rhode Island) Historical Society. Hence, we now refer to our museum and page as "Johnston Station Historical Society."

The Johnston Station Historical Society is a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to discovering, preserving and presenting the history of the Johnston, Iowa area. Founded in 1994, JHS maintains the 1902 Simpson House museum at 6161 Northglenn Drive in Johnston. Please consider supporting the Society by becoming a member, a volunteer, a benefactor or making a donation of historical items.
