It is with profound sadness that the City of Memphis, Missouri Fire Department announces the Line of Duty Death of Firefighter Jesse Ketchum. Firefighter Ketchum died Monday May 29th, 2017 as a result of an apparatus accident while responding to a call.
Firefighter Ketchum served the City of Memphis Fire Department for 4 years. He also served with the Scotland County Fire Association.
Firefighter Ketchum is survived by his wife Jenna, 2 daughters Zada and Cora, 2 sons Rhet and Kruz; his mother Kelley and his brother Jason & wife.
He was proceeded in death by his father Thomas
Visitation will be held from 6P – 9P Thursday June 1st, 2017 at the Payne Funeral Chapel 202 E. Madison St., Memphis Mo. 63555
Casket Vigil Honors will be afforded by the members of the Memphis Missouri Fire Department.
A Uniformed Member walk through will be held at 8:30PM
Funeral Services will be held 2PM Friday June 2nd, 2017 at Scotland County High School, 606 Lovers Lane, Memphis MO. 63555.
Burial will follow at Downing Cemetery, Downing Missouri.
