Come join us and meet the artist Adrienne Luther Johnson at her reception this Thursday at Gumbo Bottoms Alehaus from 5pm-7pm!

Adrienne Luther is a muralist and graphic designer based in Mid-Missouri. Her work is inspired by childlike wonder, her relationship to spirituality, nature, and community. In addition to drawing and painting, Adrienne teaches crafts to children throughout the summer alongside the great Missouri River. Gumbo Bottoms Alehaus is our longest-running Community Venue Partnership! For over 8 years, Gumbo Bottoms and Capital Arts have worked together to bring the incredible creative talents of local artists into the community.

Come by and check out the Reimagined Masterpieces Reception at Capital Arts on Thursday, August 6, from 5:00–7:00 p.m.

Awards will be announced at 5:30 p.m., giving everyone time to head over to Gumbo Bottoms Alehaus to meet artist Gail Leivian and enjoy her incredible artwork. Her reception will also be Thursday, August 6, from 5:00–7:00 p.m.
