Description of artwork: Contemporary landscapes on canvas and paper using a variety of media including oil paints, acrylics, watercolors and found objects. Presently: Free Lance Artist at the Nature Works Studio (2004 – Present) located in my home at 1731 Southwest Blvd. in Jefferson City, Missouri. I presently have approximately 30 pieces for sale at my home and studio, as well accept commissio

ns for any media. Prices range from $300 to $5000, depending upon size and content. Other services offered are art restoration, mural design and installment, exhibit design and installment and set design and construction. Background: Co-owner of the MINDscapes Gallery, Capital City Mall. MINDscapes was born as a collaboration between a local businessman, Dale Bruemmer, and myself. We sold over 45 paintings during a two-month period of time. Design / construct / paint / install 15 murals (15 feet x 8 feet) commissioned by the PepsiCo company and displayed in Dallas, Texas. Design wrapping paper for Susan Crane Design (presently Houston, TX) which represented me in selling my designs to Victoria Secrets and Neiman-Marcus stores globally. Awards in art include: Grumbacher Award (2 times), Collin County Art Best of Show (3 times), Cole County Art Show, Billy Graham Museum (2 awards), National Art Competition (Texas Tech University), Dallas Art Museum, and the Texas Visual Arts Association (3 times). I taught art in Texas and New York for 35 years including the Dallas Arts Magnet School (Booker T. Washington High School for Performing and Visual Art), Brookhaven College (Dallas County Community College District), the Walt Whitman Community School, Ursuline Academy of Dallas, Trinity Christian Academy-Addison, Walden Preparatory School (all in Dallas) and The Stony Brook School (Long Island, New York). Education: BFA in Painting and MFA in Art Education from Southern Methodist University, Dallas, Texas and the Instituto de Cultura Hispanica and The Prado Museum, Madrid, Spain.
