It is with much regret that this will be the last post I will make on this page. Due to a dis-agreement with the city council over the quality of work and inactivity of finishing, as per the contract, on the outside staircase my staff and I have resigned.. We have served as unpaid volunteers for 7 years and took the museum from looking like a convience store to a the best small town museum in Indiana. We really got a slap in the face tonight and we will not stand by and allow that to happen again. We are very grateful to all of you good people who have contributed Money and artifacts to the museim. We could not have gone this far without you. It is our wish that they find someone to run it with the passion that we have had. All your articiles that you have brought to the museum will be safe guarded and displayed as they have been.

Wake up Jasonville!!!
On October 23rd, Thursday, Bionca Gambill will be in Jasonville knocking on dooors. At 7:30PM she will be touring the museum. There will be a meet and greet session with coffee and doughnuts. Come out and meet our state representitive and get to know her. Mark this date and time on your calender. See you there.

I will post more of the homecoming at the museum soon. My recovery from the surgery is going very slowly. Thanks to everyone who took over and helped.

I found out today that my heart surgery had been pushed back a week until next Friday the 25th. I have no idea why because I had phsyced my self up for it tomorrow. I also ran into a very cooperative nurse who said she would volunteer to give me all the injections. She was a litle too eager so I said:"No thanks Nancy!" I told the doc that I would not let her near me with a needle, scaple, nor a bicyle. Thanks to all who wished me well and keep those thoughts until next Friday.

As you can see, progress is being made on the staircase. Looking better every day!
