Art Presence Art Center is a nonprofit collaborative fine art gallery and art education center in Ja Exhibits are on display for one to two months.

Art Presence Art Center is a collective gallery with artist members from throughout the Rogue Valley in southern Oregon. Art Presence hosts the popular annual show and sale of the Artists Workshop every August. We also present an exciting open show every October, an exhibition of artwork from an open call for our October Creative Challenge with a new theme each year, and "Holiday Treasures," a two

month show of affordable art by our members for holiday gift giving each year. Art Presence Art Center regular gallery hours are 11am - 5pm every Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

Monthly Art Reception

This is your chance to meet the artists on display during the September exhibition.

Pastel Artists of Oregon is an association of wonderful pastel artists from around the state. PAO’s mission is to provide members and the public with events to promote the art of pastel through exhibitions, workshops, and public venues that elevate the art of pastel.

Member Artist, Brenda Mills Brannan, is an art therapist whose career has been full of discovery and joy. She paints primarily with water media because she loves its transparent quality, vibrant colors and unpredictability. Her background in design and illustration focuses on detail, while using mixed media allows her to combine detail with a more spontaneous results.

Messy Hands: Luminaries with Miranda Caroligne

Choose from a variety of little house templates to create an adorable luminary…yours to take home! Keep it simple Nordic-style, or decorate as you like. You can even get fancy and create “stained glass” windows! All materials and tools are provided. Beginners are welcome!

Last year’s Y’art Sale fundraiser was such a great success, we’re doing it again! This fun event on our front lawn features a large selection of pre-loved works of art for sale, plus a Kid’s Korner, raffle, silent auction, and live music!

Come find new art for your home and loved ones while celebrating with wine, finger food, and great conversation.

Come make art with us at the After School Art Club!

We gather from 3pm-4pm in the classroom at Art Presence Art Center, located next door to Jacksonville City Hall at 206 N 5th Street in Jacksonville.

With the guidance of our teacher, your child will express their creativity through a variety of imaginative art projects.

You may register for either Thursdays or Fridays, and enrollment is limited to 15 students for each club. Thanks to generous support from our community, we are pleased to offer enrollment for only $10 for the entire Fall club session!

Art Presence is looking for our 2027 guest artists!

Each month, we use our entire back wall to highlight a guest artist, or collection of guest artists, of any medium.

Applications are being accepted until *this* Monday, September 1st, 2026.

Guest artists receive one month of gallery space, an opening art reception, and marketing across all our platforms. We’ll display your show, promote your exhibit, take care of your sales, and you keep 60% of the income.

Last Saturday we partnered with Hummingbird Estate for our first installment of the Creative Vineyard Series.

Award-winning watercolor artist and instructor Lauren Card taught watercolor mixing, layering, brush techniques, and more. Participants brought their curiosity and creativity, and left with paintings in their own unique style.

We hope to bring more of these kinds of events to you in the future!

Our 2nd Annual Y'Art Sale is fast approaching.

And your donations can help!

If you are downsizing, have old art sitting in your attic, or some art you've cherished that now needs a new home, we would love to include it in our Y'art Sale.

All proceeds will benefit the Art Center's programs.

Bring your pre-loved art to us in BY SUNDAY, AUGUST 30th to have it included in our sale. You may drop off Wednesday thru Sunday, 12pm to 5pm. Or you can email [email protected] to arrange for pick up.

TODAY is the inaugural Art Presence Creative Vineyard Series at beautiful Hummingbird Estate.

Beginning at 12pm, join award-winning watercolor artist and instructor Lauren Card to learn the fundamentals of watercolor—including washes, color mixing, layering, and brush techniques—while encouraging you to create a painting that reflects your own unique style.

Whether you’ve always wanted to try watercolor or are looking to refresh your skills, this welcoming workshop is the perfect place to begin. This is an opportunity to explore watercolor in a relaxed, supportive environment where creativity is celebrated.

CALL TO ARTISTS!

IMAGINARIUM: A CARNIVAL OF CROWS

Once again, the wizards at Art Presence are busy conjuring plans for the popular October IMAGINARIUM exhibit.

This year the theme is “A CARNIVAL OF CROWS.”

Crows get a bad rap for being raucous thieves who travel in murders. But to us fellow tricksters they deserve a celebration of their clever carny personalities.

We invite you to submit artwork depicting crows/ravens/owls, festive carnival or spooky night circus themes, art with vintage Halloween vibes.....we’re looking for your fun and unique art.

We will accept artwork in all mediums and sizes for consideration, all artwork must be original. In addition to paintings, drawings, digital art, we would love to have masks, fiber art, assemblage and 3-D art, clay work creations, wearable art, and even handmade brooms.

Please submit up to 2 images with sizes and mediums. All wall art must have secure wired hangers on the back and 3D art must be stable.

Exhibit Dates: September 30 – November 1, 2026
Artist Reception: Saturday, October 3, 1-4pm
Final Day for Submission: Sunday, September 13, 2026
Art Acceptance Notification Date: September 16-17
