A meaningful milestone for the Carolina Museum of the Marine.

We’re thankful to Military.com for sharing the story behind this long-awaited project and the people who helped make it possible.

This museum was built through years of support from donors, sponsors, volunteers, public partners, Marines, Sailors, veterans, and community members who believed these stories deserved to be preserved and shared.

As a nonprofit museum, we remain deeply grateful for the continued support that sustains our mission and helps us welcome future generations through our doors.

Thank you for being part of this journey.

Dating back to 1999, Museum of the Marine has aimed to commemorate spirit of Marines and sailors serving in the Carolinas.
