Fall Muster at Fort D Historic Site
920 Fort Street, Cape Girardeau, MO
Labor Day Weekend, September 5 th -7 th , 9 am – 3 pm

Take a step back in time and make Fort D your destination during Labor Day Weekend. Visit with local reenactors as they interpret the Civil War in Cape Girardeau. The soldiers will demonstrate cannon and rifle fire, and visitors can get a glimpse of life during the 1860’s inside the stone building. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, Fort D is one of the last earthen forts in Missouri to survive. Admission is free.
