Cell Block 7 is a museum about the history of the prison system in Michigan and the current life of incarcerated inmates at what was once the largest walled-prison in the world. Located adjacent to working cell-blocks on the grounds of the active Southern Regional Prison, Cell Block 7 is designed to give attendees both the history and current state of corrections in Michigan. Cell Block 7 is owned

and operated by the Ella Sharp Museum, also located in Jackson. Hours of Operations:
Monday - Tuesday - Large tour groups by appointment
Wednesday - Sunday - 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Last ticket is sold at 4:00 PM

Children 5- 17 - $8
Under 5 - Free
Military, Seniors, Ella Sharp Museum Members, College Students, MDOC Employees - $10
