New to Swing into Summer this week is the Mississippi Children's Museum Imagination Playground!
Build with the big, blue blocks of Imagination PlaygroundTM – a mobile, block-based play system that transforms children’s minds, bodies, and spirits through active, creative play! Comprised of an assortment of loose parts, including foam blocks in uniquely designed shapes, Imagination PlaygroundTM empowers children to constantly reconfigure the space around them and design their own course of play. Challenge children to build the tallest structure, work as teams, or tell a story and watch as they discover the power of imagination!
Weather permitting, Swing into Summer will be 6:00-8:00 pm Thursday, May 28 by the Red Caboose, 2103 Main Street.
On stage will be The FAZE4 Band. Guest character will be The Minion.
Community Bank will be grilling hot dogs, First Baptist Church will have watermelon, lemonade, and water, and Madison the City Business Network will give away hand fans and snacks.
Children's entertainment also includes Party Pets Petting Zoo, Chin Up Face Painting, inflatables, train rides, and corn hole.
Food vendors are: A'HA Bistro, Kenzie's Sno Cones, and The Sweet Stop Ice Cream.
Bring your lawn chairs and blankets as we get a head start on summer fun!
