This spring has been a lot of fun at the museum. On April 25 we were visited by a small bus from the Village Shores Retirement Community in Richfield. One of the guests was 100 years old, almost the same age as Chrysler corporation. On May 16 we were visited by the Hudson Essex Terraplane Car Club of Minnesota, and the following day the Impala Club came. I always enjoy groups coming in.
We will be closed this Sunday of Memorial Day weekend, and also closed the week after the holiday, the last week of May.

The last few days have been extremely fun at the museum. Thursday we had the Vintage Chev Club visit. It was so good to see my old friend Bill Dirnberger, with his wife Donna. Bill has had some health issues recently, but it was so great to spend some time with him. My prayers go out to him for complete recovery. On Sunday, The Oldsmobile Club came by with a large group. It was a also a very fun day, and everybody enjoyed themselves very much. Both clubs made very generous donations, which is so much appreciated. It's very special to me when car clubs or any kind of organization comes to visit. It always makes my day. The first photo is the Vintage Chev Club and the second one is the Olds Club. You're all invited back anytime.

We had about a dozen students visit today from Japan, care of Cambridge-Isanti High School. What a great bunch of kids. They had a lot of fun and cameras were clicking everywhere. Thank you so much for stopping in.

I haven't written anything for a while and I apologize for that. This fall, we had several groups come in to visit and that is so much appreciated. First the Minnesota Fireball Chapter of the Buick Club of America came in along with the Cadillac and LaSalle Club of America. Lots of nice people. Following that was the Studebaker Club, and then the Shriners Car Club. The Nash Car Club was also here. It's so fun when clubs come to visit. Remember we are open all winter, so if your group would like to visit, feel free to give me a call and let me know when is a good time. It's kind of sad now that all the old cars are put away for the winter, but the people can still come, and that's what counts. Hope everyone had a good Thanksgiving and have a Merry Christmas.

The newest addition to the museum is this grandfather clock from 1899 that was originally owned by Walter Chrysler. Adam's Clock Repair from Milaca came to the museum yesterday and timed and tuned it. It sounds great and is a beautiful clock. I feel so blessed to own this piece of history from Chrysler. Walter Chrysler was friends with Major Bowes, who ran the Major Bowes Amateur Hour on the radio in the thirties. Chrysler Corporation sponsored the radio program. Whenever Major would visit Chrysler's home, he would remark how much he loved the clock. So one Christmas, Chrysler had his people load it up and deliver it to Bowes' home and gave it to him as a gift. Very cool story.
