Hard to believe in 1 week all the baking, cooking, gift wrapping will be done. The house will be a disaster, with dirty dishes, torn wrapping paper, empty bottles in the trash. As I sit here exhausted thinking what an insane week I’ve had, I will think back of my parents and the wonderful holiday they would give me as a child. We never had a lot, but I never knew. I always had a new doll, maybe new bathrobe, and color forms or book. Mom saved all year for Christmas for us with her little Christmas club from the bank. She never let me forget to thank baby Jesus for all the blessings he gave us. His mom sacrificed a lot for him also. That’s what moms and grandmoms do. And actually I would not have it any other way. Everyone have a blessed and peaceful Christmas. 🎄
