ABOUT THE ARTIST

Created by Dr. Robert Taylor (1951–2024), a veterinarian by training who devoted more than 25 years to a full-time career as an artist, this sculpture reflects his extraordinary talent and passion for wildlife. Although he sculpted many types of animals, he was especially renowned for his eagles and other birds.

Dr. Taylor’s sculptures have graced the White House on three occasions. His collectors include three U.S. presidents and two vice presidents, and his distinguished career includes seven monuments and numerous corporate award commissions.

I met my gallery owner soulmate today! I always try and buy a red fish when I am traveling but found three at this wonderful shop in Hvar! ❤️🎨 She has 20 local artists!!!
