The Wilder Museum of Warren County History seasonal hours of operation are Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday from 1 to 5 PM.

Admission $5, students $1, members free. The Wilder Museum houses 4,000 artifacts that will intrigue any visitor:
1963 Mercedes Benz, Native American artifacts spanning 8,000 years, one-handed clock invented in Warren by Colonel Windsor, World War II, furnishings from the Irvine-Newbold Estate including a two-person vacuum, turn-of-the-century transportation and fashion, and the DeFrees antique gun collection. Offering more than 20 exhibits, visitors may explore on their own with a self guided brochure.

Stop by the Wilder Museum of Warren County History at 51 Erie Avenue in Irvine today, Saturday, September 12, from 1 to 5 PM to see a replica of the original undertaker's raincoat made by the New Process Company. This textile launched a very successful Warren, Pennsylvania, company in 1910, founded by John L. Blair.
The Wilder Museum exhibits over 4,000 artifacts relevant to Warren County.

Love is in the air at the Wilder Museum of Warren County History! Mark and Linda Eberl are on duty today! See where they first met when the building was the Irvine School. Stop by the museum at 51 Erie Avenue, Irvine, PA, this week on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday from 1 to 5 PM. We will be closed on Saturday for the holiday.
Their sign reads: It was on this very spot in the hallway of the Irvine Elementary School in early March of 1973 that Linda Pearson, a student art teacher from Edinboro, met Mark Eberl, the fifth grade teacher at Irvine School.
Three years later, on June 19, 1976, to be exact, Mark and Linda were united in marriage in Youngsville, PA. They raised two amazing children, Jason and Jamie. Eventually they retired and Mr. and Mrs. Eberl continue to live in Warren County... happily ever after.💖

Pictured are museum docent Mark Eberl and artifact donor Ardelle Johnson. Mark joined the team this season and tours visitors on Tuesday afternoons. Ardelle has donated most of the toy exhibit, the Waters Civil War display, and many other artifacts shown throughout the facility.
What makes the Wilder Museum such a fabulous place, is the volunteers! Thank you!

Stop by the Wilder Museum of Warren County History located at 51 Erie Avenue, Irvine, PA, this Friday or Saturday from 1 to 5 PM and learn more about Warren County history.
This antique cast-iron Geneva Hand Fluter exhibited in the Era-gone-by room was used to press pleats and ruffles into collars and cuffs. The museum is home to over 4,000 displayed artifacts relevant to the area.

Pictured is Kinzua, Pennsylvania, in the 1880s.
James Morrison became the first white settler in 1801. It became a township on March 8, 1821, initially named Number 8.
The main industry in Kinzua was lumbering due to the abundant forest, with a hotel, harness shop, and a collection of businesses located at the "square."
Kinzua's first schoolhouse was built in 1825 and was used until it burned down in 1829. The second school was a larger structure built in 1882.
The town had various churches throughout the years; the first being St. Luke's, built in 1886.
Kinzua was a close community that enjoyed silent movies at the Community House on Saturday nights.
There is plenty to do in Warren County this weekend. The Wilder Museum at 51 Erie Avenue in Irvine is open Friday & Saturday from 1 to 5 PM, and the Kinzua Heritage Festival on Fox Hill in Russell offers good food, music, and lots of fun!
