The event is on December 14th. There are two shifts, 6:00-7:00 PM and 7:00-8:00 PM. Most spots are still open, and there are spots for kids available.

This year, we will be getting dressed at Inman Mennonite. Please be there to get ready 15 minutes before your shift.

Great publicity for our little town! We will be hosting a ribbon cutting for the mural on September 13 at 11:00 AM. Come help us thank Mindy and Ron and celebrate this amazing achievement!

Inman's Mastermind event is in correlation with our August Chamber Meeting. This will place at the Inman Senior Center on August 2 at 7:00 AM. Please RSVP and plan on attending.

I just wanted to share a few statistics with you about last Saturday.

-There Inman Senior Center served 280 plates of breakfast

-We had one of the largest parades that I had been a part of

-Early reports are that the restaurants doubled their typical Saturday sales

-We raised over $5500 in the basket auction

-There were 60 kids in the fishing derby, and there were lots of fish caught (including a snapping turtle)

-There were 70 kids that participated in the pedal tractor pull (a record since I have been a part of it)

-The evening food vendors all had great sales, and some even completely sold out

-We managed to park a TON of cars in the city pasture for another excellent fireworks show.

Thank you to the chamber members who donated and helped plan, Inman Museum for bringing in even more people, Inman FFA for helping where we needed volunteers, and Cody Foster and his crew for an excellent show to end the night.

Our goal is to have an economic impact on the community that we are a part of, and I can honestly say that we truly achieved that. I hope we can meet or exceed everyone's expectations for next year!

A few reminders for Saturday!

-There will be no fireworks allowed at Lambert Park or at the city pasture. If any are shot off, you will be asked to immediately vacate the premises and might be banned from future chamber events. We love fireworks as much as the next person, but we also want everyone to be safe.

-Make sure to support your local restaurant, coffee shop, grocery store, and other businesses. Without their continued support, this event wouldn't be possible.

-Have fun. This day is about celebrating harvest basically being done in the area and our country's independence. There are activities all day that everyone can have fun doing.

More basket auction items!!! Bring them into Peoples Bank in Inman between now and Friday! If you have baked goods or perishable items and don't want to bring them in until the day of the event, please let us know, and we will take note of it.

One week from today! You can come enjoy all the events AND check out the progress on the mural. Come eat great food, participate in some great events, and end the day with one of the best small town fireworks shows around!

Basket auction items are starting to roll in. A lot of them have been anonymously donated. You can bring your baskets by Peoples Bank in Inman until 5:00 PM on Friday June 28th, or contact Shane Williams to make special arrangements. Auction will take place at 1:30 on June 29th on the East Patio of the community building.
