ate Cabin is located on the grounds of the Bynum Family Homestead and will celebrate its 150th Anniversary in 2017. The Bynum Family Homestead was a three generation family home located in Indianola. Bynum was an early Oklahoma settler, Indianola's first postmaster, and a local merchant and business man. Bynum Mercantile was the most notable of the Bynum family's endeavors in the northernmost part of the Choctaw Nation and Pittsburg County Oklahoma.
