Linda L. Booth
Linda was the founding editor of Kansas City Parent Magazine, editor of Olathelife, a Public Relations Specialist for the University of Kansas Regents Center, Public Relations Director for Olathe Public Schools, and Director of Community of Christ Communications. She has served on multiple boards, such as the president of the Longview Farm HOA, vice-president of Overland Park Rotary Club, Olathe United Way, and Ronald McDonald House.

Matthew Crimmins
Matt is an attorney who practices with his wife, Ginnie, at the Crimmins Law Firm located just off Independence Square. Matt has been a practicing attorney since 2001 and has had a varied practice representing both individuals and companies in the defense and prosecution of civil claims.

It’s September – a new beginning for both students AND the Peace Pavilion! Educators know there is a definite connection between reading and leadership, improving focus and critical thinking, building understanding of different perspectives, expanding vocabulary and communication skills, and reducing stress levels.

The Peace Pavilion is doing its part to teach peacemaking and conflict resolution skills in a fun, interactive environment. Those skills help improve mental well-being and social values, reduce aggression, and promote inclusive collaboration – skills which help them find success in their future careers.

A trip to the Peace Pavilion is an engaging, interactive study trip that aligns with state learning standards of:
• Social/Emotional Learning
• Conflict Resolution
• Cultural Diversity
• Environmental Responsibility
Field trips are for groups of 10 children or more, given on Tuesdays & Wednesdays. Cost: $4 per person (adults & kids 2 and up). Group tours take about 2 hours. To book your field trip, call (816) 912-1275, or email [email protected].
