Our non-profit partner, the Truman Library Institute hosted an event and served up Boulevard Brewing Company's KC Pils beer. The Truman Library Institute is part of Boulevard's 10% for KC program, in which they donate 10% from the sales of KC Pils to different local non-profit groups!

Is this not the cutest puppy you have every seen?!? Thanks to the Truman Home National Historic Site for posting this - all the good photos that we have of Feller, we can't display because they are copyrighted!

Did You Know? Feller, a Cocker Spaniel puppy, was a Christmas gift to President Truman in 1947. The Trumans elected to give the puppy to the White House physician, Brig. General W. Graham. Dog lovers attacked the President as being anti-canine. Margaret explained to the press the family's reason for giving up the dog. Her mother, she said, knew Margaret would not be around to raise Feller and her mother did not wish to raise the puppy herself.
