MATERIAL THINGS
Franc and Katie work alongside each other and in tandem at where Franc works in wood and welding and Katie ceramics, often in a minimal aesthetic.

The Peep Show created timely inspiration to work on a collaborative piece inspired by one of their many shared interests: fashion. Using finishing techniques of more color and texture, this work represents their less-often-shown exploration of “loud.”

They see the Peep Show window as an opportunity to expand and be in conversation with their Hyattsville community around play, inspiration, and the future.

We’ve taken over ’s Peep Show this week! You can *peep* some of ’s awesome work that is part of her “Stitchy Fingers” show in the window on Gallatin St across from .

Now that the window is all set, we’re working to get the rest of the space ready for the show this Saturday, April 13th from 6p-10p. And yes, we’re having a kids-friendly happy hour again at 5p. It was so great seeing so many young families out enjoying art at the last show!

Please join me on April 13 for a special evening devoted to ... embroidery!! If you know me even a little, you know that stitching is truly a love language for me. I celebrate with it, I honor with it, and quite honestly—it keeps me sane! My amazing pals at are putting on a party and I hope you’ll come check out what I’ve been up to. It’s my absolute pleasure to be the second featured artist in their ongoing spring series of pop-up shows in Hyattsville. Come on out and get your stitch on!
