If you are interested in your family history, join us on the second Tuesday each month at 10:30 for our monthly genealogy meeting.
Our members range from beginner to advanced. There is no charge to attend. We only ask that you become members of the museum.

On Tuesday, 13 October, Elizabeth Williams Gomoll, CG, will present "West by Water, West by Wheel: How 19th Century Immigrants Traversed the United States." Come learn the details for how your ancestors journeyed from the Old Country all the way to Minnesota. Some things will surprise you.

We have an excellent speaker coming to the museum on October 13, to talk about how immigrants traveled from the ports on the east coast into the interior of the country. Our speaker is a board certified genealogist, a published author, and President of the Northland Chapter of the Association of Professional Genealogists.
If you are interested in your family history or just history in general this is for you.

MCHS Brat Lunch! Stop down at the museum on June 17 from 12pm-3pm for a brat, chips, and refreshment - brats are the favored City Meat Market brats from Brownton. $10 per plate, and all proceeds go to support the McLeod County Historical Society!
