Get a loaf of this! On June 6th, HACkS invites you to the Bread Art Show, an exhibit all about the relationships and wonders of bread. This show doubles as a fundraiser for 2 local food panties: Manna Meal and Marshall Food Pantry. So come join us June 6th @ 6pm and experience another HACkS slice of heaven 😉

NEXT THURSDAY (May 14)
HACkS Sound Series goes deeeeeeeep - as in, Pauline Oliveros Deep Listening - with performances by Toledo, Ohio trio KBD and legendary NY
experimentalist AL MARGOLIS (founder of the Pogus Productions cassette label and label manager of Oliveros’ Deep Listening Records).
Expect an evening of incredibly nuanced electroacoustic improvisation - a chance to recalibrate your ears and expand your mind (hey, I warned you, we’re going deeeeeeeep!). A perfect sonic companion for our Paint the Sound collaborative canvas (all are invited to join in). And, we’ll have free Vegan Jambalaya for all! Come out, COME OUT!
Doors open at 6:30, music at 7. All ages are welcome! Donations are encouraged, but no one will be turned away for lack of $.

Break bread with HACkS! Submit any and all bread related artwork to be displayed in the summer ‘Bread show’ June 6th. Submit artwork of any medium or size, and share your creativity to support two local food pantries, Marshall Food Pantry & Manna Meal in Charleston.
Themes can include various types of bread, wheat, ovens, baking, bread ties & tabs, or themes of community, sustenance, and care - feel free to think outside the box and give your own interpretations of what bread might mean to you!

Our 3rd Annual Cat Show is this Saturday April 25th and we are excited to meet fellow artists, cat lovers, and good time havers!

Here's a sneak peak at some of the art up for raffle by amazing artists and ! 100% of the raffle profits will go to benefit 😻

We hope you buy lots of art all for a good cause or decide to adopt a new best friend this Saturday! 😸 Here's some best practices for how to interact with our shelter cat friends at the event!

THIS SATURDAY!!!! GET READY TO MEET SOME CATS AND BUY SOME ART!

HACkS will be hosting our annual Cat Art Show and Adoption Event May 24th from 12pm to 3pm!

What to expect:

🐱There will be cats up for adoption wandering around the gallery! If you connect with an individual, you can fill out an adoption application.

🐱We are having a supply drive for the shelter so bring laundry detergent, clumping cat litter or paper towels.

🐱Buy some art! 50% of all art sales will go directly to the Cabell Wayne Animal Shelter
