What a beautiful day for a picnic! โค๏ธ๐Ÿš‚๐Ÿงบ

The East Lycoming Historical Society would like to thank everyone who joined us yesterday at Lime Bluff Park for a wonderful afternoon filled with delicious food, beautiful music, and great company.

A special thank you to Sue Sprout for her fascinating presentation on the history of pharmaceutical practices, to Tyler Crossley for providing such lovely live music, and to Carol Mordan for her continued dedication to the Robert Webster Award.

Congratulations to this year's Robert Webster Award recipient, Abigail Rutan!

TODAY'S THE DAY!!! ๐Ÿงบโค๏ธ๐Ÿš‚

Come on out and enjoy good food, live music, a wonderful presentation, and the company of friends and neighbors at the East Lycoming Historical Society picnic!

Bring one of your favorite dishes to share. Maybe it's a recipe that's been passed down through generations, or maybe it's just a family favorite everyone loves. Food and stories have always brought communities together, and we'd love to share both with you.

๐Ÿ“… Today at 6:00 PM
๐Ÿ“ Lime Bluff Park, Hughesville

We'll also recognize our Robert Webster Award recipient, Abigail Rutan, and hear featured speaker Sue Sprout share fascinating stories about historic medicinal treatments, complemented by artifacts from our pharmacy display. Plus musical performances by Tyler Crossley ๐ŸŽธ๐ŸŽค

Everyone is welcome... we hope to see you there!

Louis Gansell of Picture Rocks was an amazing artist. Painting was of course a skill but more than anything he was a wood carver. Enjoy this David Armstrong painting of Mr. Gansell at work. More to come... :-)

I recall posting this a while ago and asked if any of you could identify it. Unfortunately I've forgotten what the consensus was so I'll ask again. Where's this photo location? Pine Summit?
